Living in a small apartment, it can certainly be a challenge to organize my closet so it is easy and fun to get dressed in the morning. One of my favorite ways to keep my closet manageable is to store off-season clothes in under-bed boxes or empty suitcases, which makes outfit choosing much easier (no need to look through sundresses in the winter or turtlenecks in the summer!) There are a couple pieces in my closet, however, that are so special I can’t help but wear them year round, and one of those is my pair of Loeffler Randall Blaise Flat Moccasins.

Although certainly pricier than most other flats I own, I love the small bit of edginess that the black suede and gold studs provide, which really punches up my more traditional/basic wardrobe. They are also supremely comfortable, so I get tons of wear out of them both at work and walking around San Francisco on the weekends. While I was initially concerned that the studs might fall off or become scratched, after wearing these for a year now I can say that these shoes have held up incredibly well and still look practically perfect. Above, you’ll find two ways I typically wear my Blaise Flats: relaxed for running errands and grabbing coffee with friends, or a bit more dressed up for walking to dinner or a play downtown. If you are looking for a new favorite pair of shoes this fall, I highly recommend these flats to up your footwear game!

P.S. Loeffler Randall now offers moccasins in oxblood, silver splatter, gold cap-toe, and the most amazing combination of polkadots & tigers!
