Monday Wishlist

Monday Wishlist

1 blouse / 2 bag / 3 scarf / 4 tshirt / 5 hat

It’s Monday again and I’m mourning the loss of the weekend. And these Monday blues call for a little retail therapy.  I’m clearly still on my black and white kick and highest up on my wish list is the Mansur Gavriel bucket bag. It’s been an understated it bag for the last few years, but now that it’s finally available online without a wait list I’m just about ready to take the plunge. Watch this space.

In With Outerwear

In With Outerwear - our top picks for Fall | Dressed In Orange

1 TopShop / 2 Zara / 3 J.Crew / 4 Zara / 5 Barbour / 6 Mackage

I’ve been eagerly awaiting fall, and today we experienced the first rain in months in San Francisco.  Fall doesn’t officially start until tomorrow, but I loved the early chance to break out a rain coat on my way to pick up breakfast treats this morning at Arizmendi.  I have my eye on basic and neutral outerwear that can easily be thrown over any outfit.  I might even open up my wallet to finally get a Barbour jacket I’ve been wanting for some time.

Put Your Shiniest Foot Forward

Silver pointed toe pumps, via Dressed in Orange

Shoes, top to bottom: 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 / 5

One new footwear style I have been seeing everywhere and loving are pointy silver pumps. The mirror finish on these shoes is a fresh and fun take on metallics, which can act as either a supporting or standout piece in an outfit. I would pair any of these shoes with white jeans and a chambray top for weekend brunch, and then let them shine at night by pairing them with a tried and true little black dress (or any cocktail dress for that matter).

Would you try this trend, or will you stick with your standby heels for now?
